We are now coordinating with Boulder Valley Lacrosse to offer two opportunities. First, we are going to enter one team in the Foothills 8th grade 10v10 league that starts on November 9. Games are on Sundays from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm at Schaffer Athletic Complex on South Kipling. The late fall season will run for 5 weeks with seven games. Cost of the league program is $150 per 7-week session per player. These teams are limited by numbers and we are going to place players based on interest in participating. For this reason it is absolutely essential that everyone lets us know immediately whether or not they intend to participate. A winter version of the program will start on January 11 and will also run seven weeks.
The second opportunity is the Icon Indoor program in Westminster is also on Sunday mornings. We will also offer two seven-week sessions for this program with the first one running on Sundays from November 16th to December 21 and the second one running on Sundays from January 11 to February 22. Each seven week session will cost $175.
We want to give everyone as many options as possible. The Schaffer league is a great way for the kids to see competition from other teams every week and the Icon program is an outstanding way for kids to continue to work on their skills and individual play, getting ready for the upcoming spring season.
We have updated the online registration so you can make your preference known as to which program you would like to participate. For those of you that have already registered, we will contact you to determine which one you prefer. For those that have not, please follow the instructions on the website. The same link to payment of the deposit can be used for either program.

FORMAT
+ We only have limited space for this program and we need to insure a high level of play to keep the playing environment safe and competitive. Experience is required. We will move some players up and down based on size and skill and may turn some players away if there is a high level of interest.
+ 30-45 minutes of skill work and 30-45 minutes of scrimmaging
GOALS
+ Develop an understanding of indoor lacrosse
+ Learn how to apply those skills to playing field lacrosse
+ Have fun and sharpen skills for the spring season

UPDATE - It does not appear that there will be sufficient availability to accommodate an indoor box lacrosse league this winter for adult men. If any time slots become available in the Westminster facility we will do our best to pull together a men's league.
